USES OF SALTS
It is well known that too much salt can cause healthy problem, but, in moderation, salt is essential and blood pressure management. We can avoid iodine deficiency by using a bit of regular table salt every day, but why not also try using some of the most delicious and healthy salts the world has to offer.
How to Use different salts in our Daily Life:
1. White salt. This is the regular, refined salt that is mixed with minute amounts of iodine. Eating a small amount of iodized salt daily is important for health to avoid iodine deficiency

Sea salt. Sea salt is salt that produced by the evaporation of seawater. It is used as a seasoning in foods, cooking, and cosmetics. It is also called bay salt, solar salt, or salt
.
3. Seasoned salt is a blend of Seasoning, herbs, spices,& other flavourings, and sometimes monosodium glutamate It is sold in any local markets and is commonly used in fish, Chicken and vegetarian food and chip shops.
4. Himalayan Rock Salts - These occur in various colors due their predominant mineral content in their natural state. Both Sendha namak & Kala namak mentioned below are Himalayan rock salts.
Different type of salts
1. Sendha namak(Himalayan rock salt). This is a large crystalline salt that's harvested from the Punjab region of Pakistan. The crystals are off-white to white in color. Research shows that this type of salt may offer benefits for those with kidney disease.
2. Kala namak (Blacksalt - Himalayan rock salt). This is a dark, reddish-black crystalline salt that turns a grey to pinkish color when ground up. It has a distinct, sulfurous odor and taste.
3. White Salt A colorless or white crystalline solid, chiefly sodium chloride, used extensively as a food seasoning and preservative. A chemical compound replacing all or part of the hydrogen ions of an acid with metal ions or electropositive radicals.
4. Pink Salt Pink Himalayan salt is often said to be the most beneficial as well as the cleanest salt available on this planet today.
5. Crystal Salt The balanced crystalline structure reveals fine branching, no shadows or rough edges. The crystal is not isolated from the inherent mineral elements (84) but is connected to them in a harmonious state. This tells us that the energy content, in the form of minerals, is balanced and can be easily metabolized by the body. This crystal is full of life. When taken as food, it will have a vital energetic effect on the body. The result is only a net gain for the body with zero energy loss.
According to Ayurveda, Sendha namak is the best for eating. The next best is Kala namak.
